ORWELLIAN NEWSPEAK/DOUBLETALK ALERT--Republicans are trying to scrap the word "privatization" from their political vocabulary, after having introduced it during Gingrich's Contract on America in 1995, in a blatant effort to: 1) deceive seniors; 2) discredit and blame Democrats by painting them as the scaremongers they the Republicans are; and 3) to cover their own behinds because the economy tanked under the Millionaires' cuts...of G. W. Bush.
Do these Republicans think seniors were born yesterday? Do they expect them to believe that "personal accounts" are not the same as "privatization"? That's like the Mafia saying to us, "Do not refer to 'mandatory protection money' as 'extortion.'"
Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) excoriated pResident Bush for using the secret creation of the Department of Homeland Security (American Gestapo) as an excuse to shred the Constitution, and deriding the Senate for their spinelessness while the Bushies are snatching our liberties right out from under our noses. He, in a lengthy argument defending law over dictatorial rule, accuses Republican Senators of dereliction of duty, of putting the whims of Bush before the rule of Constitutional law, effectively throwing the very un-American behavior card right back in the faces of the right wing, whom for decades has been flinging at Democrats.

Eunice Stone, the Georgia tipster who allegedly ''overheard'' three Arab-American men, who accused her of lying about them when she told the cops they mentioned if Americans ''were sad on 9/11, wait until 9/13.''
Ms. Stone admitted she did not like Arabs, and I wouldn't put it past that redneck to have made it all up behind their backs.
I'd like to see that broad either thrown in jail for making false statements under oath, sued by those men for slander (falsely calling them terrorists), or both. She's the damn terrorist in my book.
